Drivers Focusrite 1394

This release adds native 1394 driver support for the Saffire Pro 10 and and installing ANY Saffire to update your Saffire PRO firmware. I will try to update your Saffire MixControl 3. I noticed that the firewire legacy driver had been removed so I reinstalled it to hopefully fix the issue. Download the Microsoft Firewire 1394 Legacy Driver Installer; Double-click to run the 1394OHCILegacyDriver.msi file. This will extract the drivers to: C: Program Files (x86) 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (Legacy) Open the folder: C: Program Files (x86) 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller (Legacy) X64driver.

Drivers Focusrite 1394 App

This installer includes all necessary drivers and software to run the firewire Saffire range of Focusrite interfaces. Release notes - Fixed issue that might cause glitches using Quicktime on OS X Mavericks - Fixed issue that might cause distortion on second ADAT port and loopback using Liquid Saffire 56 - Improved sample rate switching. Windows installed 'Texas Instrument 1394 OHCI Compliant Controller', driver version 10.0.15063.0 with a date of 6/21/2006 which sounds like it installed the 'Legacy' driver. However, I can't find any reference to this driver and whether it is the 'Legacy' driver or not. Focusrite do not recommend using 1394b type firewire chipsets with Liquid Mix. However, if you must, it is recommended that you install a Microsoft firewire driver update for Windows XP SP2 available here.
